Support for home schooling

Welcome to our home schooling webpage. Here are some ideas of activities you could do with your children at home should you find yourselves having to isolate for a length of time. The weekly update will be sent on Tapestry so you can see what we are doing in school.

  • Khan Kids Sal Khan set up his website to support family members with their studies. It grew from strength to strength and received much acclaim. Khan outlined his mission as to "accelerate learning for students of all ages. With this in mind, they want to share their content with whoever may find it useful." Khan's videos are also used to educate rural areas of Africa and Asia.They are always free. Although it is American the way he approaches learning is similar to our approaches. Khan Academy have recently introduced Khan Kids an app for Early Years. Please download it and pick and choose activities that are appropriate for your child.
  • Busythings We love using this website in school it has lots of activities for all areas of learning. If you don't know the password, please ask us on tapestry and we can send it to you.
