Ch, ch, ch... someone is going on a train journey! This week we are reading 'The Train Ride' story by June Crebbin. We have put lots of fun activities here for you to do at home. Please don't feel you need to do all the suggested activities, if your child wants to do something different, please go with it! Remember to post any photos or videos on Tapestry for us to see, thank you. Have lots of fun!
Our new 'Come and See' topic for RE is -Celebrating. This week we will be thinking about the different celebrations we share together with our families, friends and within our communities. Click on the sound button on each slide to listen to what each slide is about. There are some things to discuss together and think about along the way. On the last slide there are some suggestions for an activity that you may like to do. Don't forget to take a picture or send us a message back on Tapestry to show us what you have been doing
Our liturgy this week in school looks at what it means to be a role model. We think about how Jesus cared for others and wanted them to live good lives like him. We look at the bible story where Jesus washes the disciples feet showing that He loves us and is a role model for us to copy in loving one another. You may like to gather some special things together to create your own prayer focus just like we do in school - see the picture on the first slide of the ppt.
