School Hours
School Opening Hours
School hours during term time are as follows for all children:
| Mornings | Afternoons |
| School gates open 8.30am | School gates open at 3.00pm |
| School starts and children are welcomed to class at 8.40am | School ends and children are dismissed at 3.10pm |
All children are in school for 32.5 hours per week.
Scheduled School Break Times:
Morning Break: 10.35am - 10.50am (15 minutes)
Lunch Break: 12.00 - 12.55pm (55 minutes)
Lunch break is split into to 2 sittings to accommodate all children in the hall.
When not eating their lunch, children spend all breaktimes outside, unless we experience severe weather conditions. Please provide children with suitable wet weather clothes and warm layers in the winter and a sunhat and sun cream in the summer.
We recognise that from time to time, children need a change of scene during long periods of concentration, so at the teachers discretion the children may have a short period of structured activity outside the classroom during the afternoon.
Rocketters Wrap Around Care:
St Richard's wrap around care operates during the following hours:
AM Opening: 7.30am - children are delivered to their classroom in time to start school
PM Opening: 3.10pm - 6.00pm
