Welcome to The Treehouse

The Treehouse is our our wraparound care providing a caring, engaging and interactive experience for school aged children where the emphasis is on learning in a safe and fun environment. The before, after school sessions we run are designed to provide the best possible care and experience for all the children in our charge with a wide range of activities that support and reinforce the ethos of the school. The clubs are run by school staff who are familiar with the children and the booking and administration is run by Mrs Farrands in the school office.

• You can be able to book right up until an hour before a session starts, depending on availability
• Mrs Farrands will be managing the booking and payments and is always able to help with any queries by calling the school office between 8.45am and 4.30pm

With each new day, we strive to give the children a choice in what they do and we provide a varied range of resources, games and equipment for them to choose from. We actively encourage them to make new friends and participate in the rich diversity of planned activities.

Paying for Wraparound Childcare

We have structured the charges for our Wraparound care as transparently as possible. The sessions are charged at the same rate which ever session you book and work out to £0.10per minute.

The care is operated on a “pay as you go” basis so that no one finds themselves with a big debt to pay. You will be able to:

• Top up your account then book
• Pay when you book
• or we do have a £50.00 account buffer. The booking system will only let you book up to £50.00s worth of sessions without making a payment.

The booking window is for 10 weeks, ensuring that you can book ahead. We have 24 places available on each session, if you find that a session is fully booked, please do call the office to enquire as we may have a cancellation.

Booking closes 3 days before each session, if you want to book after this time, please call Mrs Farrands in the school office who can arrange this for you depending on availability right up until an hour before the session you need.

Childcare Vouchers

If you are registered with a childcare voucher scheme, you will need to let them know that you are using St Richard’s Catholic Primary School as your childcare provider and give then our URN or OFSTED number which is 126038. They will then contact us so that we can redeem the vouchers.

When you use your voucher provider to use a voucher, the funds are sent to us and we will top up your account ready for you to go ahead and book.

Tax-Free Childcare

You may be eligible for Tax-Free childcare. Take a look at https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare and follow the steps to see if you are eligible and how to use the scheme. Our Wraparound is registered as St Richard’s Catholic Primary School and our URN of OFSTED number is 126038.

If you are registered for Tax-Free childcare you will go online and raise a voucher, we ask that you take a screen shot and email it to office@strichardsprimary.co.uk so that we can top up for account ready for you to book sessions.
